Illinois trip, Bloomington time
So, I never finished the Illinois trip report:
On Monday we went to Chester Il to see my brother Kevin. Chester is the home of Elzie Crisler Segar – the creator of Popeye! The kids were so thrilled:
then we found my old college roommate, Jim Beasley, who was inspecting a meat plant in town:
Next, we headed up to Bloomington to stay with the Hardys.
