I’m going to try switching the blog to WordPress

Published by under Uncategorized

Which means that the rss feed link changes from index.xml to wp-rss.php or wp-rss2.php.

I’ll leave the index.xml for now and see if folks switch. If I get really clever, I’ll redirect index.xml to wp-rss.php.

The Simple Machines Team takes First Place at the San Diego Elementary Science Field Day!

Published by under Family

Erin and her classmate Adrianna won first place in today’s San Diego Elementary Science Field Day in the Simple Machines competition. I was the coach and we’ve been meeting for a few months, covering all kinds of info about the Simple Machines.

Here’s the group in the morning… sleeeepyyyy…

The girls study Simple Machines diligently…

Getting ready for the test!

Some post testing snackage…

Much Wacky Science was happening throughout the day.

The school where the competition was held had a neat sculpture.

Here’s the Deer Canyon Camp.

Some of our students competed in the egg drop.

Some got a little attached to their eggs… 🙂

Erin made some goo… well, bluer goo than normal… 😉

The end of a long day

The crew who was still left at the end.
