BOOM! There goes the window…
So I’m driving a couple of people from work to get some BBQ up in Leucadia. We take the I5 North, and just as we’re about to exit, there’s a huge BOOM followed by what sounded like sand falling on the roof of the van.
Well, it wasn’t sand, it was the window right behind my head slowly shattering (can something slowly shatter?) and the sand sound was the safety glass cracking. Something had flown up from the road and tagged the window HARD!

Oh yeah, when we finally got to Big Jim’s BBQ, it was CLOSED ON MONDAYS!
Some days it doesn’t pay to get out of bed… 🙂

I am glad that you were not hurt. Did you ever figure out what hit the window?
I coulda told you that! Big Jim’s has always been closed on Mondays. I live right around the bend from there. Next time invite me and I’ll show you an even better place … though, of course, it’s Mexican food.
