Pictures from Victoria, BC
I’m up in Victoria BC for the Access2007 Libraries Tech Conference. I remembered to pack my tripod, so I got some nice night shots:
I blew this one out on purpose, and kinda liked it:
I also visited the University of Victoria’s campus for an all day hackfest. They have a rabbit issue:
Got some nice fall colors too:
I flew home the next day and got a bunch of shots from the air:
I *lurve* the rabbits! Beats the nasty squirrels over here on the U of I campus any day… 🙂
Aw! Not often I miss the old ‘hood but seeing the pictures of the turning leaves on campus sure brings back memories. You been to Pagliacci’s yet? Don’t come home without doing that. Seriously. The lasagnas are great but my fave is the Hemingway.
Hey! I made it to Pagliacci’s! Didn’t have the Hemingway – can’t remember the name of what I did get… I think The Big Easy… Very spice, very nice!
D
If you go at night and there’s a line up, the wait staff come out with mugs of red wine for you, to keep you warm. Hence it’s a favorite hang out for students 😉 And they have good music some nights too.
I now know that I have met the saviour of Luc Declerck! What a honour! Great meeting you at the conference, and talking about dot.com telecom stuffs last night! Hope you found your way to Hugo’s OK!
Latah!
